Nybro Energi is 100% owned by Nybro Municipality and has a politically appointed board.

Our mission is to offer electricity trading to customers throughout Sweden, provide fiber connections, district heating, electricity networks, as well as water and sewage services to large parts of Nybro Municipality. We also produce electricity that corresponds to a quarter of the electricity consumption in Nybro Municipality. Additionally, we aim to maintain reasonable prices for our customers. Of course, both individuals and companies can be our customers. The companies within Nybro Energi have a turnover of approximately 420 million SEK and employ around 70 people.

Job Responsibilities

The company has been operating a waste-fired combined heat and power plant for several years and has several exciting investment projects underway. We have a vacancy in the organization and need to strengthen our team with an environmental administrator who will help manage and develop the production business area within power and heat.

The job responsibilities are expected to include everything from project management to environmental reporting. You will be based at the combined heat and power plant and will be directly subordinate to the Business Area Manager. The position will involve a lot of independent work with great opportunities to influence.

Typical job tasks:

· Sampling and documentation of ash, water, and fuel

· Documentation of ash handling, notifications, and reporting

· Self-monitoring of odor, documentation, and assessment

· Handling of fire protection notifications

· Reporting to SCB

· Emission trading

· Managing M-files and entric

· Working with environmental management in heat and electricity production

· Driving and developing the company's systematic environmental work within the production side

· Communicating verbally and in writing with environmental authorities

· Producing reports and investigations such as procedures, risk analyses, control programs, and environmental reports

· Handling permit issues

· Responsible for environmental measurements regarding monitoring, reporting, and also technology

An important part of the job is to monitor the external environment to stay ahead of changes in legislation. The company views positively engaging in the networks that exist within the industry, where there is much information to gather and skilled individuals to learn from.

The job tasks may also include independently driving projects that encompass everything from feasibility studies to implementation.

Qualifications

A minimum of a university degree or experience in a relevant field is required. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and value personality, drive, and commitment.

Previous experience in the energy sector, process industry, waste incineration, waste management, communication with authorities, project management, work with environmental management systems, and environmental measurements is advantageous.

A valid class B driver's license is required.
